This is a great video! I've always wondered why homosexuals have to ask everybody before they can get married. It's ridiculous! What contribution is anybody, outside of the party's family, going to do to the marriage? I don't think my neighbor cares who I marry.
So so good. I saw the US ad too, and like Tobias, think it's better in an Irish accent. But then, what isn't.
I thought that the bit where he had to struggle with Gaelic particularly effective b/c it suddenly hit home with how many DIFFERENT types of people this poor boy was going to have to ask, how he was going to have to please a whole world of people, to do this very simple, personal, loving thing.

Awesome!!
It's actually based on a US advert (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aPdWWhXAjiY), but for some reason it's so much better with Irish accents.

Excellent.
Linking to you in my 30 Lovely Blogs-post, because I love your reviews. And you're right, this ad is brilliant.

Fantastic ad. And yeah, everything's better with Irish accents, it's just one of those things.
Does anyone know who the music's by in the Irish version, by the way? Sounds like an Irish singer there too.
The song in the background of the Ad is called "Ocean and a Rock" by Lisa Hannigan.
Shazam on iphone ROCKED it!
Absolutely wonderful!!! I love it!
