*If you're 12 or under, it's not legal for anyone to collect your e-mail address. You can subscribe to this blog in a reader and follow me on twitter to get much of the same information, just not put together in tidy packages. But heck, if you're 11 or 12, you already know that life isn't always tidy. Thanks!
LOL! That was awesome! You know, I remember watching Doogie Hauser and hoping he could last through the transition from child actor to adult. He's done beautifully. :D
And from today's news, American Idol Adam Lambert:
"I was worried that [coming out] would be so sensationalized that it would overshadow what I was there to do, which was sing," Lambert tells the mag. "I'm an entertainer, and who I am and what I do in my personal life is a separate thing. it shouldn't matter. Except it does. It's really confusing."
I know you called for him coming out during the AI run, but I love his reasoning here for not doing so - and agree. He also said that the producers left it up to him.
MotherReader, ooh - I can't wait to read that - I've been hearing a bunch of things about this... and I've been waiting to blog on it till more info came out! thanks for the hot tip! Lee
I remember watching Doogie Howser (sorry, I know, that probably makes me a total geek!) but after seeing him in RENT I fell in love with Neil Patrick Harris. My kids like him now too because he is on one of our favorite books on tape, "Henry Huggins." (Now I'm really confirming my geekdom, huh?)
Disclosure: As of July 5, 2020, if you click on a book here on this blog and it takes you to bookshop.org, there is an affiliate relationship in place where 10% of that book order will come back to me, Lee Wind. I hope that works for you. And if it doesn't, no worries. I hope you buy your books somewhere that feels good to you. Thanks!
