The author is a cousin of mine, so I freely admit that I'm biased. On the other hand, I love this book, even after going through it four or five times (I was part of her proofreader/commenter group).
It's a fun read. I cared about what happened to the characters -- even the ones who were going through those difficult teen periods when they weren't always likable.
