Bumbling Into Body Hair: A Transsexual's Memoir

Bumbling Into Body Hair: A Transsexual's Memoir by Everett Maroon

A comical memoir about a klutz’s sex change, Bumbling into Body Hair shows how a sense of humor – and true love – can triumph over hair disasters, resurrected breasts, and even the most crippling self-doubt. The memoir follows the complex process Jenifer Maroon undertook to become Everett -- including coming to terms with his identity, telling family and friends, and going through transition both physically and legally. Everett tells his story with brave honesty, emphasizing the importance of not letting others dictate who you are -- and laughing at yourself along the way.

Not crazy about the title, but I am always glad to see more transgender/transsexual books out there. These memoirs are courageous and we need to read them.
