Cheryl Rainfield, author of "Scars" tells LGBTQ Teens: "It Gets Better."

Cheryl's novel Scars moved me, and so did this:

If you are Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Gender Non-Conforming or Questioning, and you're in crisis, you can call the Trevor Project's Lifeline, 1-866-4-U-TREVOR (1-866-488-7386) and talk to someone who'll listen.

And Cheryl's right:
It Gets Better.

Namaste,
Lee

That is so powerful.
From reading her book Scars, I think Cheryl Rainfield is amazing. She paid her dues and she clearly knows what she is talking about, big time, when she says it gets better.

Lee, thank you so *very much* for posting my It Gets Better video! (hugging you) I really want to help get the word out there--it does get better (even when it feels like it can't and it won't). Just...thank you!!

ivanova--I am so glad you found the video powerful. That felt good to read! And yes, oh yes--there used to be SO much pain and despair for me. But I did find good, caring people, and things got SO much better--as I think they can for each of us.

Love this one so much.

She looks beautiful in that rainbow scarf.

I hope people keep putting their voices out there.
