At this holiday time of year, it's really important to celebrate that so many of us are there/here for these kids and teens today.
So in between finals, and holiday preparations, for your next GSA meeting grab some M&Ms, some gummi bears, some jelly beans, some sprinkle cookies and see if you can talk someone into helping you make a 10 layer jello rainbow centerpiece, like this one:
Celebrate with YOUR GSA. Or celebrate here, with your virtual GSA.
Because being there for your peers if you're a Teen, and for ALL kids if you're an adult, whether they're Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, Transgender, Gender-Non-Conforming, Queer, Questioning or Straight Allies... is worth celebrating.

Possibly the best thing I've seen today!
The thought of layered jello brings back all my worst memories from family holidays, but RAINBOW layered jello without fruit cocktail floaties might be worth a try. :)

that jello is awesome, and Adrienne's cake picture is even more amazing!
but most amazing of all - all the LGBTQ kids and their friends and allies who are out and about and fighting the good fight.
the "GSA" at my high school, which i helped found (way back in 1996) wasn't called GSA, and wasn't allowed to be publicly known as having anything to do with gayness or even "tolerance." it was totally closeted by administration.
it makes my heart very, very happy to know that so many more kids now are able to advertise and publicly promote and join GSAs and similar groups in their schools.
