I loved it. I checked it out at my local library & I wasn't intentionally looking for it. It kinda caught my eye, so I checked it out & it blew me away.
I remember my mom actually picking it up with disgust & said, "why would you read something about lesbians ?"
& I told her, "as open as your eyes are, you should open your mind."

I definitely recommend this book. Its beautiful.

Oh, Chenea, thank you for your review. And I love your response,

"as open as your eyes are, you should open your mind."

We should all be so brave to speak our truths.

Namaste,
Lee

This is my new favorite book. It was absolutely amazing. I just really started accepting my lesbian identity, and I really kind of "found myself" in this book. My only complaint is that this book caused me to be sleep deprived. I started this book the day before I had a roller derby game, and three hours and two thirds of the book later, I finally managed to get to sleep. I would definitely recommend it, especially to others who are just discovering their identity.
